Welcome to CIQ Agency
The Cultural Industries Quarter Agency (CIQA) has a long track record of driving regeneration, investment and development in the cultural industries in South Yorkshire.
The CIQA has contributed to the development of high profile successes in Sheffield, including the redevelopment of Butcher Works, JIGSAW and Developing Creativity. A host of smaller projects have also been supported, putting in place a growing infrastructure for the development of creative and digital industries in South Yorkshire and beyond. More recently, the Equal Last Mile Development Partnership provided training opportunities in the creative industries which saw 66% of beneficiaries making significant progress in their chosen fields.
Current initiatives see the CIQA remaining at the innovative edge of regeneration work. The Cube is South Yorkshire's first bespoke 'Live/Work' scheme. Its green roof offers an unusual approach to supporting biodiversity and reducing the building's carbon footprint. Creative Exchange: South Yorkshire (CE:SY) is supporting the development of sustainable managed workspace for creative and digital industries through innovative partnerships with the voluntary and community sectors. CE:SY is also committed to promoting the growth of networking and learning opportunities in the creative and digital sector to ensure the development of a strong seed bed of growing businesses who will occupy the workspaces being created.
The CIQA is now actively investigating projects to drive forward the next stage of growth.
