Creative Exchange: South Yorkshire
I'm delighted to be leading Creative Exchange: South Yorkshire. The idea of using the high growth potential of the creative and digital industries to support the regeneration of disadvantaged communities across South Yorkshire and beyond is one I am passionately committed to.
Creative and digital industries including advertising, arts, crafts, design, fashion, film and video, video game development, live and performing arts, publishing, television and radio are the fastest growing industry sector in the UK. Yet, in South Yorkshire, it was recognised that a lack of suitable workspaces and networking opportunities was contributing to a steady drain of skilled people moving out of the area. By facilitating partnerships with community and voluntary organisations, Creative Exchange is encouraging businesses to grow and develop without leaving their roots, and enabling some of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods to take advantage of this growth potential.
My staff team and I have been working hard to support projects who have already received funding from us, and to expand the range of work we are supporting. Development is moving so please visit our website regularly for all the news on the very latest developments.

Open Day Hosted by Enco Associates Ltd
